Iraqi forces are pressing on with their offensive against al-Qaeda-linked militants in the western province of Anbar. Troops-- backed by Sunni tribesmen-- continue their attack on insurgents who are in control of some neighborhoods in the city of Ramadi. Reports coming out of the area say a dozen security personnel have been injured by militant snipers during the operations. Over the past weeks, security forces have been fighting militants around Anbar\'s provincial capital, as well as and the nearby city of Fallujah.
