Show More >>British Prime Minister David Cameron is the first foreign head of government to visit Pakistan after historic democratic transition of power in May this year. Cameron met Pakistan\'s new Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in capital Islamabad. The two discussed measures to enhance bilateral relations including trade and economic ties between Pakistan and Britain. But their real focus was on current situation in Afghanistan. At a joint news conference, the British premier, who flew from Kabul, backed a political solution to Afghan war after his top general said the West missed a chance to strike a peace deal with Taliban militants 10 years ago. For his part, Pakistani premier emphasized the need for all-inclusive Afghan-owned and Afghan-led peace process.
